Directions to London Wasps

London Wasps play their matches at Causeway Stadium in High Wycombe. The stadium address is: Causeway Stadium, Hillbottom Road, Sands, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, HP12 4HJ. The administrative offices are in Acton.

We strongly urge supporters to use public transport on matchday's. Please note that there is a special discount of 20% for supporters using Chiltern Railways on London Wasps match days. All you need to do is show your ticket for the game while purchasing a train ticket.

Travel By Road:

From London:
Join M25 and head for J16 M25/M40. Join M40 and head to J4/A404 High Wycombe. At Junction 4 take slip road and turn right, over the motorway and then take first exit for A4010 (John Hall Way). Follow this road crossing 3 mini roundabouts until the road becomes New Road. Keep on New Road until next mini roundabout take left turn onto Lane End Road. Cross next mini roundabout onto Hillbottom Road, this will take you on to Causeway Stadium.

From West
M40 to J4 M40/A404 At Junction 4 take slip road and turn right, over the motorway and then take first exit for A4010 (John Hall Way). Follow this road crossing 3 mini roundabouts until the road becomes New Road. Keep on New Road until next mini roundabout take left turn onto Lane End Road. Cross next mini roundabout onto Hillbottom Road, this will take you on to Causeway Stadium.

Traffic is usually very heavy in and around High Wycombe even more so when a home game is scheduled. We recommend the following:

  • Use alternative routes to avoid J4 of the M40 (ie J3 or J5).
  • Travel by train or bus if possible.
  • Park in town and use the Free Bus Service.
  • Do not expect to find parking at the ground in the hour leading up to kick-off.
  • Start your journey early / arrive at the ground early.

Parking

In the Town centre:

Plentiful Local Authority Car parking. Use the following website to check opening and closing times at these carparks. Most are FREE on Sundays. Click here for website

We recommend you park in the town and use the Free Bus Service to the ground.

Near The Ground:
Millbrook School in Mill end Road: £3, open from 1.00pm-6.45pm. (Open for Sunday fixtures only)
Limited factory parking in approach road: £3-£5 (organised by local community groups).
Limited Causeway Stadium Car parking: Upper tier £5.
Limited Causeway Stadium Coach parking. Call us to enquire about Coach Parking.

If you are parking in residential areas, please park courteously. Parking enforcement is in operation.

Rail Travel

Rail Travel has been severely disrupted due to the closure of the line at Gerrards Cross. Replacement buses will operate between Denham and Beaconsfield. There will be 2 buses per hour. There is also a bus service from Amersham to High Wycombe, so that fans can elect to travel from London to Amersham as an alternative. There will be 2 buses per hour.

London Wasps free bus service

This season, the bus service will be operated by Motts Buses. The buses will be complimentary until further notice. For this Sunday game with an 3:00pm kick-off:

To the Game:
Buses will depart from the High Wycombe Train Station, stopping to pick up passengers just outside the High Wycombe Bus Station (Union Street - rear of Tesco), dropping passengers of at The Hourglass Pub (5-10 minute walk to the ground). First Departure: 11:45am. Last Departure: 2.30pm.

After the Game:
Buses will depart from near the gates to Causeway Stadium 20 minutes after the final whistle, stopping to drop passengers off at the Bus Station, before concluding their journey at the Train Station. The last bus departing the stadium will be at 6.30pm exactly.

Please Note

There are currently PARK and RIDE signs at Cressex. This is a service we are looking at providing in the future, but it will not be in operation until further notice.
