Merchandise FAQ

This section is intended to answer some of the more commonly asked questions about the merchandise range and the products in it. It will expand as we get asked more questions!

1) Is it possible to get names and numbers printed on shirts?

Unfortunately, these options are no longer available: the seams on Replica Shirts make it extremely difficult to get a name or a number patch to properly adhere and we don't want to risk ruining your shirt!

2) So, how come the Playing Shirts have names and numbers on?

Playing Shirts have the Quarters printed on them (no seams) and so avoid the problem with names etc not adhering to them correctly.

3) Why are the Replica Shirts close-fitting and not baggy like rugby shirts used to be?

The current crop of Replicas are technical garments, made from high-wicking fabrics; these fabrics work far more effectively when they are in reasonably close proximity with your body - if they are cut baggy, you don't get the benefits of the excellent fabric.

For those fans who prefer a looser garment (in a non-technical fabric), we keep things like the Retro II Shirt in stock.

4) Do you have a merchandise brochure?

No. The Online Store is kept far more up-to-date than any hard-copy brochure could ever be; this, combined with a desire to save trees, has resulted in us no longer producing a brochure.

5) Why is this page so short?

The questions above are the ones we get asked most often at the moment; if you ask us more questions, the more frequently occurring ones will be included here. Contact the store through the Shop Contact Form.
