2007/08 Season Review - PROMOTED!!

Harlequin Amateurs was set-up after the sport turned professional to foster the great tradition of amateur Harlequin rugby. The club colours are the same famous quartered shirts we all know and love. Following a merger with Lockside RFC at the beginning of this season, Harlequin Amateurs relocated to Teddington, the spiritual home of Harlequins. The new set-up includes a clubhouse on the Thames overlooking the lock with matches played on nearby St.Mary's University pitches. New coaching staff have been brought in and club currently fields 3 senior teams including a Vets side.

We are always keen to expand so new players of all standards are very welcome. If you would like to play in the Harlequin shirt click here to visit our website.

This season's assault on Herts and Middlesex league One began in style being named as 'Rugby World' magazine's Team-of-the-Month having gone unbeaten throughout September. In fact, the unbeaten run continued resulting in promotion being secured before the end of February.

The club is now seeking sponsors for the 2008/9 season including an exclusive shirt sponsor. For a pack please click here to email our Marketing Officer.
