While playing and coaching, Harlequins deliver and promote the core values of the game of rugby to the children team work, sportsmanship, discipline, respect and teamwork, this was very much in abundance.
After 36 games of tag rugby, the final was played between Ottershaw and West Byfleet. When the final whistle went, the score was 2-2 so the winner was decided with a golden try. Ottershaw got the all-important try, winning 3-2.
Community rugby coach Brian Holland said 'It was a great afternoon of tag rugby. All of the teams improved and grew in confidence as the festival went on. What pleased me most was that each player went home with a smile on their face.
Harlequins will be holding a teachers training session for all the Woking schools on the programme, this will take place at Chobham rugby club on Wednesday the 23rd of January from 5pm to 7pm.
