"Our 2nd XV faced a tough game against Cambridge University on Tuesday," said Mike Scott, NEC Harlequins Team Manager.
"Cambridge were very well organised and looked after the ball well in difficult conditions, but there were strong performances from a number of the team with Roy Winters being named man of the match. It is very pleasing to see the 2nd XV continue to perform well and remain unbeaten, as it shows there is a strong competition for places in the 1st team squad."
