After winning three awards at last season's event, NEC Harlequins enjoyed further success at this years Premier Rugby Marketing Awards dinner that was held at Twickenham Stadium on Friday night (30th May 2003).
For the second year running, Quins picked-up the 'Best Promotional Initiative Award' for their 'Super 12' week held back in February, which saw Quins play the Sharks (4th February 2003) and the Sharks play the Stormers (7th February 2003) at the Stoop; the first time that two Super 12 sides played each other outside of the Southern Hemisphere.
Quins were also runners-up in the 'Best Club Sponsor' category, with main sponsor CSF earning recognition for their Fantasy Rugby competition, run in association with The Sunday Times, as well as their 'Guide to Rugby' and online kicking competition.
After winning the 'Club of the Year' award 12 months ago, Quins were runners-up in this category this time around, losing out to Northampton Saints.
