After making a brief appearance as a replacement for Trevor Woodman in England's 23-9 victory over New Zealand Maori yesterday (9th June 2003), NEC Harlequins recent signing Mike Worsley will arrive in Vancouver tonight (10th June 2003) and join the England squad competing in the Churchill Cup.
Worsley is joined by Paul Volley (London Wasps), Tom Palmer (Leeds Tykes), Ben Johnston (Saracens), James Simpson-Daniel and Andy Hazell (both Gloucester) from the squad originally selected for the three-match tour of New Zealand and Australia.
England play Canada in the Churchill Cup this Saturday (14th June 2003) before facing the USA a week later (21st June 2003). Should England be successful, they will then take part in the Churchill Cup Final at the Thunderbird Stadium, Vancouver, on Saturday 28th June 2003.
During week commencing 22nd April Harlequins will launch an innovative, new Membership Scheme which will replace the existing Season Ticket Holder Programme. Further details of the scheme will be announced in due course.
