NEC Harlequins are delighted to announce that the Stoop Memorial Ground will play host to a benefit game between a London Irish 'All Stars' XV and the Barbarians, in aid of the Jarrod Cunningham SALSA Foundation. This fixture will take place on Thursday 6th March 2003, kick-off 7.45pm.
Following the announcement last summer that Jarrod had been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease, a committee was set-up in his name with the aim to provide the care and support that will be needed in the future.
Jarrod will be appearing in this match by undertaking all the kicking duties for the London Irish XV, which is to be coached by current Leinster assistant coach Willie Anderson. Northampton Saints head coach and former All Black Wayne Smith will be in charge of the Barbarians team.
Watch out for further announcements about the players taking part over the coming weeks.
Tickets for this match are available from Quins ticketline on 0871 871 8877, or can be booked on-line by clicking
