Quins team to play Leicester Tigers - 25th January 2003

NEC Harlequins have eight players unavailable due to injury for this Saturday's (25th January 2003) Powergen Cup quarterfinal against Leicester Tigers at the Stoop, kick-off 2.45pm. These players are:<br /> <br />Keith Wood (Shoulder)<br />Pat Sanderson (Shoulder)<br />Roy Winters (Achilles)<br />Laurent Gomez (Broken Leg)<br />Bruce Starr (Calf)<br />Nick Duncombe (Hamstring)<br />Chris Bell (Hamstring)<br />Nick Greenstock (Ankle)<br /> <br />With these injuries in mind, Jon Dawson continues at tight head prop, having played so well against Bristol Shoguns in the Zurich Premiership on 4th January 2003.
Scott Bemand comes in at scrum half for Duncombe, while Viliame Satala replaces Bell and will partner Will Greenwood in the centre.
The only other change from the starting XV that beat Bristol three weeks ago sees Ben Gollings starting on the wing ahead of Rob Jewell.
"It is a tremendous challenge ahead of us this weekend," said Mark Evans, NEC Harlequins Chief Executive. "Leicester are the benchmark for us all to follow. Four times Zurich Premiership winners, twice winners of the Heineken Cup; we know we are going to face a huge physical challenge on Saturday."
"The Stoop is sold out and I am sure that the game will be a fantastic occasion and we are all looking forward to it."
