In the early August heat wave, the Stoop hosted the first of its Dance Schools. Harley's Angels dance instructors Anna-Louise Mederson and Louise Bennett put 30 children of ages 7-15yrs through a week's rigorous programme. The sessions covered Street, Hip-Hop and Jazz and all their hard work will be on display when the team perform a dance showcase at the first Quins home match of the season.
The children enjoyed afternoon activities of rounders, badminton, a much needed water fight and a rugby skills session led by 1st XV player Karl Rudzki.
During the week a variety of awards were presented, those who stood out for their effort, consistency and the students who were most improved all took home prizes such as signed Harley's Angels shirts and Mighty Quins watches. The week was a huge success and a great start to the season for the new Harley's Angels team.
* You will be able to see the Harley's Angels Dance Summer School perform their routines pre-match and half-time at the Quins Vs London Wasps match on the 13th September.
