NEC Harlequins make a number of changes to their team to face Cetransa UEMC in Northern Spain on Sunday in the Parker Pen Challenge Cup.
In the front row Ceri Jones and James Hayter start with Ace Tiatia, Tani Fuga and Jon Dawson on the bench. In the second row Karl Rudzki starts alongside Jim Evans, while in the back row Luke Sherriff (captain), Roy Winters and Kai Horstmann replace Andre Vos, Tony Diprose and Pat Sanderson.
In the back line Scott Bemand starts at scrum half, with Andy Reay and Josh Taumalolo in the centres and Rob Jewell and Matt Moore on the wings. Andy Dunne and Gavin Duffy continue at flyhalf and fullback respectively.
"The Parker Pen Challenge Cup is a very important competition to us," said NEC Harlequins Chief Executive Mark Evans. "We do not know much about our Spanish opposition, but their domestic record is very good. We are sure that it will be a difficult tie, particularly the leg in Valladolid. There are some very good teams in the competition and as one of our objectives is to qualify for next season's Heineken Cup, success in the Parker Pen Challenge Cup is vitally important to us. This competition has also given a number of players who have performed well for us in the Zurich Premiership and in our 2nd XV, the opportunity to stake a claim for a regular spot in the starting XV."
