NEC Harlequins have been drawn against Leeds Tykes in the opening round of this years London Pride Middlesex Sevens, taking place at Twickenham on Saturday 16th August 2003.
Should Quins be victorious, then they will face either Gloucester or the British Army in round two; two teams who are potential winners of the competition, according to Quins flanker and sevens expert Pat Sanderson.
"Gloucester, the Army and Young England, who will be coached by Joe Lydon, are all in the top half of the draw and the winner could come from that section," said Sanderson. "Any number of sides could win it. It's a very open tournament this year."
