Just a short note to say a huge thank you to all our incredible fans for your support throughout the season and of course on Friday night whether you watched us play in Cardiff, at the Stoop or at home.
We have had some ups and downs this year, and are learning with every game we play. We have always had a lot of self-belief and trust in each other and to win a trophy was the perfect way to finish off the season. To go to Munster and win and then beat Stade in the final shows a lot of character and determination.
Next year we want to kick on in the Premiership and competing in the Heineken Cup is where we want to be, playing a style of rugby we enjoy and know you enjoy watching. We are a young side with many players making an impact, but also have some very experienced players too. We want to continue winning trophies.
I mentioned in a previous note to you how important the fans are to us, without your support we would not be where we are today. We are lucky to have such incredible fans and all your messages that you took the time to send in really gave us further motivation before the final. When we arrived into the dressing room they were stuck on all the walls so we had time to read them before running out on the field. I cannot stress enough the importance of every single voice combined to cheer us on and support the boys.
Enjoy the summer and we look forward to seeing you back at the Stoop next season!
