Harlequins were honoured last night for their efforts off the field in the last 12 months by winning the "Play Award" at the 2013 All Parliamentary Premiership Rugby Community Awards in London.

The reception was an important way for Aviva to raise its profile and build relationships with parliamentarians. It was an ideal occasion for us to highlight some of the key issues facing Aviva and our customers - the savings gap, pensions, regulation, Solvency II, flooding and healthcare were just a few of the subjects discussed.
In a well-received speech Andrew Moss highlighted our commitment to our customers: "One of the things that is distinctive about Aviva is our commitment to putting customers at the heart of our business."
The reception also offered us a platform to highlight some of our key CR initiatives - such as Street to School, and our involvement in grass roots youth programmes linked to UK Athletics and our rugby premiership sponsorship.
The appearance of the Aviva Premiership Rugby Trophy and two Harlequins players, Ugo Monye and Chris Robshaw, added a touch of glamour to the evening.
