'We have come off our first defeat in a long time in all competitions and it has been a bitter pill for us all to swallow. Losing is one thing but doing so when you have not put on your best is the hard part to take. As ever you would never question the guy's commitment but as long as the defeat serves as a reminder as to how hard you have to work to achieve your goals it will have been no bad thing.'

'This season's league is going to go right down to the wire and we are right in that mix but we need to maintain our home form if we are to retain our ambition to be in the play offs at the end of season.'
