Harlequins' Mark Lambert believes that their is still much excitement in the squad despite the loss at Exeter last weekend.
To be in a European quarter final and an LV= Cup semi final as well as right in the mix in the Premiership is a great place to be, and the incentives going forward for the rest of the season are massive for Harlequins.
Lambert admits the weekend's result was frustrating, but spirits are certainly not dampened.
"The season is slowly building up to an exciting crescendo for all Quins fans, and this weekend is one of only eight regular season games left for us to try and make the top four. Last weekend was of course very frustrating for everyone involved with the club, and it was an unwelcome end to the winning run that we have worked so hard for in the last couple of months."
The focus remains showing the right reaction to defeat, something Director of Rugby Conor O'Shea has already talked about this week.
Lambert: "We are aware of the improvements that we need to make, but you do not become a bad side after only one loss, and we know that we can play great rugby. The sign of a top side is not that they never lose, but how they react when they do suffer defeat."
Make sure you're there to witness the reaction from Harlequins as they look to continue their impressive home record.
