"After all the excitement of the Heineken Cup, we are once again back to what I consider to be our bread and butter, the Guinness Premiership".
"Saturday's game against Northampton will be an extremely big game for us. Consistency in the Premiership is even more important to me than in the Heineken Cup; of course if we can achieve both, it would be even better.
"Northampton haven't won an away premiership match so far this season (which shouldn't faze them on Saturday), whilst we, on the other hand, are unbeaten in our last five home games in all competitions. Our main focus is to retain this impressive home form.
"There are a number of players who have put in consistent performances recently, such as Will Skinner who continues to captain the side superbly, James Percival, Tom Williams, Chris Robshaw and Ceri Jones.
"I am pleased to have David Strettle back and available for selection, along with Alex Rogers who is back in training after being injured in October against London Irish.
"Northampton are a side who could cause us a number of problems. They have a semi-final place in the EDF Energy Cup and have reached the quarter finals of the Challenge Cup. After beating us in December at Franklin's Gardens, they will be looking to do the double, and change their away fortunes on Saturday"
