This Saturday's game against Worcester Warriors promises to be a crucial game for both sides, and with tickets still available, you will not want to miss out. Director of Rugby, Dean Richards, believes it will be quite a battle:
"After the excitement of the last Heineken Cup game against Stade at the Stoop, and the record-breaking game at HQ against Leicester Tigers, we are back at our true home ground for what will prove to be a crucial Guinness Premiership game for us.
"Although The Big Game was an incredible event, you can never replicate the feeling of playing at The Stoop in front of your home fans. The lift a packed-out Stoop can provide the team can be invaluable, as we have seen already this season in earlier games.
"I don't like to linger on past games but we will have to step up a gear when we play Worcester on Saturday. We may have beaten them twice already this season but in the Guinness Premiership, as I have said before, there are no guaranteed wins, and Worcester are an unpredictable side.
"The arrival of Director of Rugby Mike Ruddock and Head Coach Clive Griffiths, was a massive boost, and under their guidance the Midlands team will always be a threat.
"Sadly the Warriors have suffered a series of injuries this season which has led to the side seeing a number of different line-ups. Any coach will tell you that this inconsistency can make it difficult for a side to settle into a rhythm.
"They do however, have some extremely talented players with the likes of Captain Pat Sanderson, Wallabies fullback, Chris Latham and of course our old friend Hal Luscombe, who we welcome back to The Stoop, along with a number of talented youngsters who are becoming increasingly valuable to the visitors."
What the day will guarantee is a great game of rugby between two top sides…oh and cold weather, so remember to wrap up warm and we will see you at the Stoop! Tickets are still available so call the Ticket line NOW on 0871 527 1315
