Congratulations to Chris York and Seb Stegmann, who have both been selected for the England Under 20's starting line-up for the opening game against Italy in the RBS 6 Nations.
Both Academy players have been in blistering form this season for the Quins A team, their respective loan clubs (Stegmann plays for Esher and York plays for Blackheath), and, in the case of Stegmann, for the Quins first XV.
Stegmann is one of six players who completed the Grand Slam in the tournament before going on to reach the final of the IRB Junior World Championship.
"We've got a good balance between experience and new players with lots of pressure from the replacements and other guys in the squad for places in the side," said coach Mark Mapletoft. "We've had a lot of tough selection calls to make, which is the way it should be."
The England Under 20's side open their 6 Nations campaign against Italy U20's this Friday 6th January, at Sixways Stadium (home of the Worcester Warriors).
