No game in the Heineken Cup can be thought of as an easy game and this Saturday's game against three-time European Champions, Toulouse, will be as tough as they come.
Coming off the back of a dominant 36-17 victory over Sale Sharks, in front of a crowd of 28,543 at the Stade Municipal (the biggest crowd of round 1), Toulouse will definitely have a few things to be smiling about.
Not only do they go ahead of Cardiff Blues in the Group 5 table, but their star French winger, Vincent Clerc, is the new leader of the Heineken Cup try scoring pack, after scoring two tries against Sale. For Quins, he will definitely be a player to watch!
In just 47 tournament appearances, the Frenchman has scored 30 tries, and this Saturday at the Stoop Quins will be in no mood to help him build on that.
Speaking to ERC, Clerc gives his thoughts on this weekend's game at the Stoop:
"In seven years in the Heineken Cup I have never played against Harlequins, but I expect the game to be tough. They [Quins] will be keen to show their worth on the field and in front of their home crowd. This team will be out to prove a point and will be dangerous. It will be down to us to do what needs to be done to rise to the challenge."
