On a sunny Edinburgh day, Quins convincingly disappointed a home crowd of 2,325 with a 33-16 victory over the Scottish Magners league side..
With two bullocking tries for Nick Easter and one for Gonzalo Tiesi, Edinburgh were under the cosh. However, the unerring boot of Chris Paterson brought nine penalty points before he left the pitch to nurse a minor hip injury.
John Houston ran in a try for the home side, converted by Paterson's kicking replacement, Grieg Laidlaw.
However, Quins hammered the point home with two further tries from Sam Smith and George Robson. A fairly convincing display all round to help boost the confidence two weeks before kicking off their Guinness Premiership campaign against Wasps at Twickenham.
During week commencing 22nd April Harlequins will launch an innovative, new Membership Scheme which will replace the existing Season Ticket Holder Programme. Further details of the scheme will be announced in due course.
