Esher v London Scottish Seb Jewell was the only academy player in the Esher side this weekend. He continued his winning streak with the in form side, beating London Scottish 23-17 on their home ground.
The game was tight but Esher took the lead 25 minutes in with a penalty from their fly half and a Seb Jewell penalty led to a try to put the team 8-0 ahead at half time. The second half started as the first finished putting Scottish under pressure, but a dropped ball on the Scottish 22 led to a run in try from 60 metres for the opposition to score their first try. The game turned into rugby tennis, each scoring one after the other with Scottish taking the lead for a while. Esher put up a brave comeback slipping Jewell in with only four minutes to go to give Esher the win, 23-17.
During week commencing 22nd April Harlequins will launch an innovative, new Membership Scheme which will replace the existing Season Ticket Holder Programme. Further details of the scheme will be announced in due course.
