Having confirmed last week that captain Andre Vos, along with Will Greenwood and Tony Diprose will be staying at the club next season, NEC Harlequins are delighted to announce that they have retained the services of a number of their leading players for the 2005/06 campaign.
The list includes Ugo Monye and Mike Worsley, who will both be part of England's Churchill Cup squad in Canada next month, as well as Gavin Duffy, who on Monday of this week (16th May) was named in the Ireland squad to tour Japan this summer.
In addition to having a host of experienced professionals, including George Harder, Mel Deane and Tani Fuga, Quins will also have a number of their talented younger players in the squad next season, such as Adrian Jarvis, Tom Williams, Duncan James and Tom Guest.
"The response we've had from the squad has been magnificent and I'm sure the news about which players are staying will be a tremendous fillip for everyone associated with the club," said Mark Evans, NEC Harlequins Chief Executive.
"Given the loyalty the players have shown and the talent that as a group they possess, I'm very confident that we can achieve our aim of returning to the Premiership at the first attempt. There is going to be an excellent blend of both experience and youth in the squad."
