Kai Horstmann has joined Worcester Warriors, having spent three seasons with NEC Harlequins. He joined the club in the summer of 2002 and made his debut in the pre-season friendly victory over Glasgow that summer (9th August 2002).
Horstmann then made his debut in the Zurich Premiership as a replacement for Andre Vos in the match away to Northampton Saints on 23rd November 2002. He got his first start in the Premiership in the 43-20 victory over Rotherham Titans at the Stoop on 16th April last year.
Hortsmann was a key figure in the Quins team that won the inaugural Zurich A League over the 2003/04 season. He was also part of the England Sevens squad that competed in the 2003/04 IRB World Sevens Series.
During week commencing 22nd April Harlequins will launch an innovative, new Membership Scheme which will replace the existing Season Ticket Holder Programme. Further details of the scheme will be announced in due course.
