Having received a further 500 applications over the past seven days, NEC Harlequins are now up to 3,000 Season Ticket holders for the 2005/06 season. By reaching this figure, it means that the club will have more Season Ticket holders than they did for the 2001/02 campaign when Quins were in both the Zurich Premiership and Heineken Cup.
"The response we have had to the Season Ticket campaign has certainly exceeded our expectations," said Tony Copsey, NEC Harlequins Managing Director. "To see the huge piles of application forms coming into the office on a daily basis is giving everyone associated with the club a very positive outlook for the season ahead of us."
The start of the 2005/06 season will see Quins officially open their new West stand at the Stoop, which will provide 3,850 covered seats and bring the capacity of the ground to 12,700. High quality new facilities include a new members' bar, a new club shop, 14 corporate hospitality boxes, three new corporate lounges, new player and officials' changing facilities, new club offices and new media facilities.
Indeed, the new West stand is already proving popular to Quins supporters, with a third of all Season Ticket applications requesting a seat within the new facility.
Current Season Ticket holders who have yet to renew their seat, please note that the 'Early Bird Offer' finishes at the end of this week. Therefore, in order to have first reserve on your seat from this last season and to take advantage of the easy payment option, then please renew your Season Ticket by the close of play on
Friday (3rd June).
Anyone wishing to renew their Season Ticket or to purchase one for the 2005/06 season needs to fill in an application form on the Season Ticket brochure. To be sent a brochure in the post or if you have any queries, then call the Quins ticket office on
