The start of the 2005/06 season will herald an exciting new era for Harlequin Ladies Football Club starting with the appointment of Nick Hyde as Head Coach, writes Mel Antao.
Nick brings a wealth of coaching experiences to the Ladies Team, including NEC Harlequins Under 19 Squad, Leeds Tykes Elite Player Development Group and Yorkshire Development Squad. He is currently undertaking his RFU Level 3 - module 2 coaching award and is an RFU Coach Tutor for England, Scotland and Wales.
Nick has been the Community Development Officer for NEC Harlequins since September 2003, whom he joined from Silcoates School, Wakefield and the RFU (Student Liaison Officer for Yorkshire Universities).
Furthermore, the Harlequin Ladies will be joining NEC Harlequins and the Harlequin Amateur squad at the new training ground at Roehampton Vale. Pre-season training commences on
Thursday 14th July from
7.30pm to
9.00pm. The Ladies will be training once a week during July, moving to two sessions a week from 2nd August.
