NEC Harlequins make one change to the team that started in the 39-23 victory over Newcastle Falcons at the Stoop (Sunday 13th March 2005) for the game against Northampton Saints at Franklins Gardens in the Zurich Premiership on Saturday (26th March), kick-off 3.00pm.
In the back division, Ugo Monye misses out due to a calf injury he sustained during the World Cup Sevens in Hong Kong last weekend, so Simon Keogh takes his place on the left wing. Gavin Duffy returns from international duty and takes Keogh's place on the bench.
The pack is unchanged, though Simon Maling has recovered from the groin injury that forced him to miss the Newcastle match and is amongst the replacements in place of Roy Winters.
"The victory over Newcastle has given us a great chance to push for a Wild Card play-off place at the end of the season," said Mark Evans, NEC Harlequins Chief Executive. "At the same time we are only nine points ahead of Leeds going into this weekend, so there is much to play for in our remaining four games."
"Given Northampton's position in the table, then clearly this is a massive game for both sides on Saturday. They have had a couple of excellent victories recently and I'm sure will go into the match with a lot of confidence. However, the same can be said about us and there's a belief within the squad that we can come away with a positive result should we perform to the best of our abilities."
