NEC Harlequins Community Development Officer Nick Hyde is running the London Marathon on Sunday 17th April and aiming to raise £2,000 for the clubs designated charity, the British Paralympic Association.
It will be the first marathon Nick will have taken part in, but he is looking forward to running the 26.2 miles around the capital.
"The performances of our athletes at the Paralympic Games in Athens last summer were a huge inspiration for me to go out and run a marathon," said Nick. "The training is going well and I'm aiming for a time around the four hour mark, whilst at the same time raising money for a very worthy cause."
During week commencing 22nd April Harlequins will launch an innovative, new Membership Scheme which will replace the existing Season Ticket Holder Programme. Further details of the scheme will be announced in due course.
