Jae Woong Choi is a pupil at TASIS; the American School in England. He was seriously injured whilst playing rugby in a Junior Varsity match in March 2004. Jae Woong made a tackle, and such was the severity of his injury that he will not walk again.
He has some gross movement of his hands and arms but no fine motor control of his fingers - yet! Jae Woong is determined to live life to the full. He wants to complete his education, go to Harvard, and continue to play sports. The aim of the trust fund is to support Jae Woong in pursuit of his dreams.
All the monies raised at the dinner, at the Stoop on Friday 6th May, will go towards the trust fund.
The guest speaker will be Martin Bayfield, the ex-England and British Lions lock forward, Radio Five Live and Daily Telegraph correspondent, actor in the Harry Potter films and one of the most sought after speakers on the circuit!
There will also be an auction of 'money can't buy items,' as well as a raffle and silent auction.
The cost is
£800 per table of 10 or
£80 for individual tickets.
