At the 2003 Rugby World Cup everyone said: "We must help the emerging rugby nations" - SOS IRB Kit Aid is doing just that! There are literally thousands of youngsters in less privileged countries who want to play rugby but their parents (earning on average £50 per month) just cannot afford the kit.

SOS IRB Kit Aid is an IRB supported project that simply collects unwanted, quality second hand / new rugby kit from hundreds of UK schools and clubs, and sends it to emerging rugby nations, amongst them Romania, Georgia, Poland and the Ukraine.
Thousands of rugby mad youngsters can now play the game for the first time in kit their parents simply could not afford to buy and junior player numbers are up dramatically because of SOS's contribution.
For full details, visit the project's website at

You have a chance to make a contribution on
Saturday 30th April at the Stoop when Quins play Sale Sharks, by bringing along your unwanted, out grown, CLEAN rugby boots and putting them in the distinctive
BRIGHT RED SOS BOOT BARRELS. It will be next to the Community Cabin on the training pitch behind the East stand.
These bright red SOS Boot Barrels will be appearing at all Zurich Premiership clubs next season. SOS will then collect the boots and send them to the Junior Rugby Federations of emerging rugby nations to help them develop junior player numbers and grow our great game.
PLEASE DIG OUT YOUR UNWANTED, QUALITY USED BOOTS AND PUT THEM IN THE DISTINCTIVE BRIGHT RED SOS IRB BOOT BARRELS ON 30TH APRIL - YOU CAN MAKE A REAL DIFFERENCE!
