NEC Harlequins have selected Ugo Monye, Andrew Mehrtens and Nick Easter in their team to play Coventry in National Division One on Saturday (8th October), kick-off 3.00pm, after all three missed the 27-7 victory over Doncaster last weekend (1st October) due to injury.
Director of Rugby Dean Richards makes nine changes to the side in total, four of which are in the back division. Mehrtens starts at fly half in place of Adrian Jarvis, who drops to the bench, while Monye takes over from Charlie Amesbury on the left wing.
Mike Brown makes his first start in National Division One this season, in place of Gavin Duffy at full back. Will Greenwood misses out due to a shoulder injury, so Mel Deane starts in the midfield alongside Tosh Masson.
There is a new look front row, with Ceri Jones, Tani Fuga and Ricky Nebbett, replacing Alex Rogers, Jimmy Richards and Lorne Ward respectively. Jones will be making his first appearance in the league this season having recovered from a knee injury sustained back in August.
Jim Evans returns to the second row to partner Simon Miall, while Nick Easter takes over from Tony Diprose at number eight, as the former England international has an ankle injury.
