Jason Leonard – England’s most capped player
9 December 2000 11:24am
Congratulations to Jason Leonard who became England's most capped player of all time in the 19-0 defeat of Argentina two weeks ago. By winning his 86th cap, he passed the record previously set by Rory Underwood. It was fitting that Argentina provided the opposition as they were the country Jason made his debut against back in<br />1990.
Congratulations also to Will Greenwood who returned to England's starting XV in the victory over South Africa by 25-17 last Saturday. Will, who was a second half substitute against Argentina, replaced the injured Mike Catt and scored England's only try of the game after 33 minutes.
During week commencing 22nd April Harlequins will launch an innovative, new Membership Scheme which will replace the existing Season Ticket Holder Programme. Further details of the scheme will be announced in due course.
