Looking Ahead to 2001: Tetley Bitter Cup Semi-Final

<strong>What a way to start the New Year! </strong>
On Saturday 6th January 2001, we take on Leicester Tigers in the semi-final of the Tetley's Bitter Cup here at the Stoop, kick-off 4.00pm. This is the first time we've reached the semi-final stages of the competition for four years. In 1997 we travelled to Heywood Road but were denied a place in the final by Sale who defeated 26-16.
We met Leicester in the Zurich Premiership back on Friday 24th November, with both sides missing key players due to international commitments. Leading 13-0 with 60 minutes on the clock, Tim Stimpson helped himself to 16 points in the final quarter to secure a victory for the Tigers (13-16). (Picture of Quins Vs Leicester - 24th Nov)
The semi-final is an all ticket match - no tickets will be available on the day. Tickets are available from the ticketline on 0870 887 0230.
Should we be successful, the final will take place at Twickenham on Saturday 24th February 2001.
