NEC Harlequins are delighted to announce that Ugo Monye has signed a new three year contract which will keep him at the club until June 2007.
The 21 year-old winger is one of the most promising young players in English rugby and has thrilled crowds with his performances for Quins and the England Sevens teams in recent months.
"We are very pleased that Ugo is staying with Quins for the foreseeable future," said NEC Harlequins Chief Executive Mark Evans. "He has come up through the ranks of the Quins' Youth and Academy sides and it is always satisfying to see one of your own young players break through to top class rugby."
"I am very happy to be staying at Quins," said Monye. "The club is making great progress and we are all looking forward to playing in the Heineken Cup this season. It has been my club since I left school and I am delighted to have secured my future with Quins."
During week commencing 22nd April Harlequins will launch an innovative, new Membership Scheme which will replace the existing Season Ticket Holder Programme. Further details of the scheme will be announced in due course.
