In the front row, Jon Dawson returns at tight head prop in place of Jason Leonard, who is amongst the replacements. In the back division, Paul Burke has recovered from a groin injury and replaces Andy Dunne at fly half.

Ace Tiatia (ankle), Roy Winters (shoulder) and Josh Taumalolo (back) were all unavailable for selection. .

"It is always difficult picking a squad of 22 for a final," said NEC Harlequins Chief Executive Mark Evans. "We run a squad of 32 senior players and even allowing for injuries it means that some players who have played a big part in getting us to the final will not be involved."

They are a very different side from the Narbonne team that we beat in the European Shield final three years ago; they have a strong forward pack and some very strong and powerful backs."
