The annual End of Season Awards Dinner took place last night (Thursday 27th May) at the Royal Lancaster Hotel. Attended by players, staff, sponsors and supporters, it was a fantastic night that celebrated the successes of the season, including the victories in the Parker Pen Challenge Cup and the Zurich A League.
MC and former Quins winger Mike Wedderburn welcomed everyone, before Chief Executive Mark Evans gave his review of the season.
Retiring club stalwart Jason Leonard received a standing ovation as he went up to receive his framed playing shirt, whilst there were also tributes to the other players leaving Quins this summer, including Paul Burke and Bill Davison.
The award winners on the night were as follows:
The Nick Duncombe Trophy for Young Player of the Season:
Ugo Monye
Try of the Season:
Andy Dunne (Vs London Wasps - 13th September 2003)
