NEC Harlequins make one change to the team that started in the victory over Leeds Tykes last weekend (Sunday 28th November) for the Heineken Cup tie against the Neath-Swansea Ospreys at St Helens on Sunday (5th December), kick-off 3.00pm.
Will Greenwood returns from international duty and takes his place in the centre alongside Dafydd James. The England international replaces Mel Deane, who drops to the replacements bench and where he takes the place of Ugo Monye, as he is away with the England Sevens team in Dubai.
Lock forward Simon Maling is not registered to play in the group stages of the Heineken Cup, so Karl Rudzki comes in to take his place on the bench.
"Realistically, we need two victories from the back-to-back games against the Ospreys if we are to stay in contention of reaching the knockout stages," said Mark Evans, NEC Harlequins Chief Executive. "However, the same can be said about the Ospreys who, like ourselves, go into Sunday's contest looking for their first win in the competition."
"It will be a genuine cup tie, with the winner staying alive in the tournament for another week and the other facing the prospect of effectively exiting the competition. Having won three games in a row, there is a renewed confidence within the team and a belief that we can get the result we require on Sunday."
