NEC Harlequins make five changes plus two positional changes to the starting XV for this Sunday's (22nd February) game against London Wasps in the Zurich Premiership at the Causeway Stadium, kick-off 6.00pm.
In the front row, Mike Worsley is preferred to Ceri Jones at loose head prop and Jon Dawson starts on the tight head, while in the second row Roy Winters comes in for Jim Evans, who is suffering from food poisoning.
Simon Keogh moves from the wing to scrum half with Ugo Monye back from injury and England Sevens duty, while Andy Reay partners Mel Deane in the centre. Andy Dunne replaces the injured Paul Burke at fly half.
Apart from Evans and Burke, the other players unavailable for selection this weekend were Will Greenwood (England), Jason Leonard (England), Rob Jewell (injured), Adrian Jarvis (England Under 21) Chris Bell (England Under 21), Henry Barratt (England Under 21) and Tom Parker (England Under 21). However, returning from long-term injuries are Simon Miall and Josh Taumalolo, who are both on the bench this weekend.
"We know that we will face a very determined London Wasps outfit on Sunday evening at the Causeway Stadium," said NEC Harlequins Chief Executive Mark Evans. "Wasps are on a very good run at the moment and have not lost in the Zurich Premiership since 8th November last year when they were away to Leicester Tigers."
"Against Saracens in our last Premiership game our forwards alone made in excess of 140 tackles and we know that this Sunday they will need to repeat that effort. Sunday is an important game for both clubs as we look to continue our respective challenges in the Zurich Premiership and I am sure that it will be a very close affair. We are looking forward to the challenge."
