On a wind and rain soaked pitch Harlequins showed what is meant by a Premiership side, they out played, out ran, and out tackled, Moseley. 14 minutes into the game Warrington ran from a lineout unchallenged to score the first try which was converted by Cousins, six minutes later Monye shoulder barged his way through 2 defenders to score another try. Moseley then fought their way into Quins half and were awarded a penalty which was kicked putting Moseley on the board. Quins were reduced to 14 players after the captain was sin binned but this did not stop the try count, with Redmayne scoring just before half time.
8 minutes into the second half, Street was driven over in one of many driving mauls which was converted by Cousins. Moseley kicked through and a chase resulted in the Referee awarding a penalty try against Quins for pushing, which was rather harsh as a penalty would have been a better decision. 10 minutes from the end Street was pushed over again in another fantastic driving maul which was converted by Cousins. Final score of a well deserved win 31-10
