The planning committee will hear our application for the new West stand this coming Thursday (18th November). With this being a public meeting, any NEC Harlequins supporter wishing to attend may do so.
This is taking place at The Council Chamber, Richmond Council Offices, York House, Richmond Road, Twickenham (opposite The Tup Public House). The hearing will start at 6.00pm, with our application expected to be heard at about 6.30pm. Anyone planning to attend, please note that there are a limited number of seats within the public gallery and we would advise you to get there early in order to reserve your seat.
The new West stand would provide our club with the necessary level of seating, hospitality and commercial facilities from which to create a stable financial base and secure our long-term future.
Should the planning application be approved, then it is likely we will begin the construction of the stand in January 2005 and have it ready for the start of next season.
