Over 2,500 boys and girls will have the opportunity to represent their clubs at the Stoop. Last year's winning teams have all entered and with several new additions, including Richmond and Blackheath, the standard is set to rise once again.

Twickenham RFC will be involved on Saturday and will be looking forward to starting their season with solid performances. They face stiff opposition from Dorking, Worthing and Lewes. Teddington will be fielding teams in the Under 7 and Under 11 competition, and as always will be competitive.

The format of the competition is improved with the semi-final and Grand Finals Day already confirmed.

* Semi-Final 1 - 13th March 2005 (Newcastle Falcons)

Winners from the Leicester, Neath-Swansea Ospreys, Munster 1 and Worcester festivals, along with the best placed runners-up will take part on this day.

* Semi-Final 2 - 9th April 2005 (London Irish)

Winners from the Castres, Leeds Tykes, London Wasps, Gloucester and Munster 2 festivals will be in action on this day.

* Grand Finals Day - 30th April 2005 (Sale Sharks)

The Grand Finals Day will see the top two teams from each semi-final, in every age group playing at the Stoop.
