NEC Harlequins make four changes to the team for Sunday's (25th April) game against Connacht in the second leg of the Parker Pen Challenge Cup semi-final in Galway, kick-off 1.00pm.
In the backline, both Mel Deane and Paul Burke return following injury, while in the pack Pat Sanderson retruns and James Hayter starts at hooker in place of the suspended Tani Fuga.
Players unavailable this week are Jason Leonard (foot), Ace Tiatia (ankle), Roy Winters (shoulder) and Tani Fuga (suspension).
"We know that we are going to face a very difficult game on Sunday afternoon," said NEC Harlequins Chief Executive Mark Evans. "The first leg at the Stoop was every bit as difficult as we had expected it to be. Connacht are a very good team, they have a tremendous pack of forwards and some very clever backs who are more than capable of creating try scoring opportunities."
"They have two good goal kickers in Eric Elwood and Mark McHugh and will no doubt have a very vociferous support at their home ground."
"Having said all of that we do have a nine point advantage and we know that if we play to the best of our ability we have every chance of winning the game and progressing to the final of the Parker Pen Challenge Cup. We have some fine players of our own, who in the last two games have scored ten tries and created a number of other scoring opportunities."
"There will be a large number of Quins supporters travelling to Galway to support the team, and we will want to perform for them as much as for ourselves".
