This year the competition takes on a new look with clubs from National Division One, Two and Three, and Regional Division One having been invited to join Middlesex Associated and Affiliated Clubs in a bid to win the competition and with it automatic entry to the London Pride Charity Middlesex 7's, which will take place at Twickenham on Saturday 14th August.

The finals day, in association with Greene King IPA, will provide a first class spectacle of sevens rugby. The day will comprise of a Main Cup (knockout and finals) competition and the finals of the Bowl, Plate and Shield. There will be entertainment for all the family; many activities for children, international player visits, a community rugby 7s tournament, and all day bars and barbecues.
