Jason Leonard will captain NEC Harlequins in this Saturday's Powergen Cup semi-final against London Irish at the Stoop, kick-off 2.45pm.
There are three changes to the team that started against Gloucester in the Zurich Premiership a fortnight ago (23rd February 2002).
In the backs, Rob Jewell starts on the right wing in place of Ben Gollings, who drops to the bench.
In the pack, Adrian Olver replaces Jon Dawson in the front row and Roy Winters returns to the blind side flank, allowing Steve White-Cooper to move into the second row in place of Garrick Morgan, who is amongst the replacements.
Ace Tiatia continues at hooker as Keith Wood has not fully recovered from the calf injury he sustained back in December.
On the bench, Tani Fuga returns from the rib injury he picked-up in Quins victory over Leicester in the quarterfinals of the Powergen Cup (19th January 2002) and Matthew Powell replaces Scott Bemand.
"We are facing possibly the second best team in the Premiership on Saturday," said Mark Evans, NEC Harlequins Chief Executive. "London Irish have shown themselves to be a very good side this season. Their defence is tremendous and their ability to retain possession is second to none in the Premiership. Clearly we are very much the underdogs in this game, even with home advantage, but we are looking forward to the challenge."
"We are fortunate at the moment to have only two long-term injuries with Keith (Wood) close to returning to full fitness and Bill Davison expecting to return to action in a Second XV fixture later this month."
