NEC Harlequins are delighted to announce the signing of tight-head prop Pablo Cardinalli on a two-year contract.
25 year-old Cardinalli was part of the Argentina squad that toured New Zealand last year and he has four years experience of playing provincial rugby for Buenos Aires. Earlier in his career he won representative honours with the Argentina Under 19, Under 21 and Argentina 'A' sides.
"Pablo is probably less well known than others, but no prop tours with the Argentinean squad to New Zealand without being a powerful and dominant scrummager," said Mark Evans, NEC Harlequins Chief Executive. "Being a tight-head prop he is one of a rare breed and along with Jason Leonard, Laurent Gomez, Bruce Starr and Jon Dawson, we now have a strong pool of props that every team needs if it is to be successful."
During week commencing 22nd April Harlequins will launch an innovative, new Membership Scheme which will replace the existing Season Ticket Holder Programme. Further details of the scheme will be announced in due course.
