Alex Codling has fully recovered from a hamstring injury and will partner Bill Davison in the second row.

Apart from Burke and Slemen, other players unavailable for selection this weekend are Keith Wood, Pat Sanderson, Roy Winters, Chris Bell and Dan Luger, while summer signing Andre Vos will be arriving in England next Wednesday morning (30th October 2002).

"We have a number of injuries at the moment, but we still have what we believe to be a very strong 22 to take on Bristol this weekend," said Mark Evans, NEC Harlequins Head Coach. "There is good news on the injury front, in so much as that we expect to see Keith Wood, Paul Burke and Chris Bell all available to play in Quins colours during November."

"We are expecting a tough game against Bristol this Sunday. They are a strong side and will be full of confidence after there win against Montferrand last weekend in the Heineken Cup.
