NEC Harlequins are pleased to confirm that both Paul Burke and Ace Tiatia, injured against Bristol Shoguns in the clubs last Zurich Premiership game (31st March 2002), are fit and available for this Sunday's clash with London Irish at The Madejski Stadium, kick-off 3pm.
"Both Paul and Ace have taken a full part in training this week and are fit and available for selection for our game with London Irish on Sunday. However, we will not be naming our squad until 11.00am on Sunday morning," said Mike Scott, NEC Harlequins Team Manager.
With four league games to go, Chief Executive Mark Evans said: "We know that we face a difficult challenge against London Irish. Before the Powergen Cup semi-final in March we said that London Irish were the second best team in the Premiership behind Leicester, and I have seen nothing since to change my mind about that. They play with a great intensity and their ball retention is first class."
"Yes this is an important game for us, but I am sure that the players know what they have to do and I hope that we can give our tremendous supporters something to shout about on Sunday."
