NEC Harlequins tighthead prop Lorne Ward will be leaving the Club this summer to join Guinness Premiership rivals Bath on a one-year contract.
The 30 year-old joined Quins from London Welsh in the summer of 2005 and made 31 appearances for the Club in their league and cup double winning season that year, including starting in the Powergen National Trophy Final against Bedford at Twickenham.
However, he was restricted to just a handful of appearances during the current campaign and indeed was loaned out to his former Club, London Welsh for the last couple of months of the season.
During week commencing 22nd April Harlequins will launch an innovative, new Membership Scheme which will replace the existing Season Ticket Holder Programme. Further details of the scheme will be announced in due course.
