Saracens currently sit in the top three of the Guinness Premiership table, with their only defeat in their last 5 games coming from a hotly contested game against Sale Sharks where they went down 30-34 on the 19th October. They are also ranked as the 2nd best away team in the Premiership, having secured 14 league points from their four away trips so far this season.
So, who better to give us his thoughts on this Saturday's clash with the mighty Saracens than our very own crowd favourite, Mr Ugo Monye. Having been rested for the Heineken clash against Bristol last Sunday, the Quins winger is back, fully refuelled and ready to knock Saracens off their winning streak.
'The Premiership is our main focus this season, and we are all determined to build on last season's 7th spot. It is vital that we get a win, not just for the team, but also for the fans who have supported us over the last few months. I personally can't wait to run out at the Stoop this weekend.
'Saracens have a number of players to watch. They have a fantastic attacking game, with players such as Glen Jackson, at fly half, who was PRA's player of the year in 2006/07 and Brent Russell at full back.
'Up front in the forwards they have the New Zealander Chris Jack in the second row who I think will be someone we will really have to get control of.
'Saying this, it doesn't matter how much I tell you about their attacking strength, their defensive skills or the pace of their backs, it will all be about Quins on Saturday. We are capable of both competing and beating the best, and we are ready to show this on Saturday'.
A big congratulations must go to Ugo, who although losing the 'quickest man' title to Mr Strettle at the recent mid-season fitness testing, has gained the 'fitness' crown. Congratulations!
