Tomorrow's (Saturday 28th April) Guinness Premiership match versus Sale brings to a close another season, and with another sell out crowd it is sure to be a fantastic day at the Twickenham Stoop. This will be our third sell out in a row and I can honestly say I cannot remember a match at the Stoop with such a demand. In fact, we had Brian Ashton looking for a couple of tickets earlier this week; as it happens, we were lucky to have one of our box holders able to host the England Coach!
This sell out will bring our average ticket sales for the Guinness Premiership this season to over 10,900 per match, which represents another leap in our average year on year ticket sales. We, along with Bristol, have the biggest percentage growth this year, compared with last, than any other club in the league. This in particular is very pleasing to report and is a sign of our growing support base.
As you may have noticed, we have put an appeal out to all current season ticket holders who are unable to come to the match to let us know, so we can use their seats to help try and accommodate the massive demand from our community clubs and schools. It is absolutely great to see over 2,750 ticket sales coming from this area of the Club.
They will be present to compete in the Quins Curtain Raiser Cup Grand Finals for age groups from Under 7s to Under 12s. Furthermore, we are also hosting the South West Surrey Schools Finals. Again this is testament to the hard work being done by our community department and our commitment in this area.
There is plenty going on inside the stadium tomorrow, with the normal food and drink outlets and the Mighty Quins Village in full operation. The post match band will be 'The Slaves' and to keep the male gender supporter happy, we have the Harlequin Hearts performing. They will be doing a routine pre-match and at half-time.
Not only will this act as an incentive to get into your seats early, it will no doubt remind you that our Rugby League colleagues have a big match on Sunday (29th April) when they meet the world club champions St. Helens at the Stoop. Indeed, supporters attending the Sale match can take advantage of a ticket offer for the game on Sunday - details of this are available by clicking
here.
Once again at half-time tomorrow, one lucky ticket holder will win the Guinness Ultimate Seat prize of a Guinness fridge and a year's supply of Guinness. If you miss out on winning this, then there's always the opportunity to 'Win your weight in Beer' thanks to Greene King IPA.
Saturday also represents the final game at Quins for a number of players and also sees us saying goodbye to a number of others. One player in particular is Andre Vos, who throughout his time at Quins has not only been a fantastic player and captain but also a great professional. Along with the other players, we will formally be saying goodbye to Andre at the end of the match with a short presentation.
We will also be noting the end of Andre's career and saying our goodbyes to all the guys at the End of Season Dinner next Tuesday (1st May) at the Grosvenor House Hotel. We still have a few places remaining at the dinner and for more details about this, then please contact Sales Manager Julian Gent on

Furthermore and after 11 years, we bid farewell to NEC as our title sponsors. Their support has been integral to our success both on and off the pitch and it is fitting that we have a sell out crowd on their final match. The agreement saw NEC enter their 11th year of partnership with Quins this season, making it the longest serving sponsorship in Club rugby, as well as one of the longest running partnerships in sport.
On another note, it is great to report that our season ticket sales for the 2007/08 campaign have this week passed the 1,000 mark; 24% of which are new season ticket holders.
I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow and finishing off the season in style.
